1. Who we are (data controller)

Slavų tradicinės muzikos mokykla, a non-profit cultural and educational entity registered in Lithuania under Registration Code (RC) 124627254, with its registered office at Draugystės pr. 25, Šiauliai, 76289 Šiaulių m. sav., Lithuania, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You may reach us at info@NikaRoofing.com or +370 615 20310.

2. What data we collect

  • Enquiries: the name, email address, subject and message you submit through our contact form, or the equivalent details you send by email or give by phone.
  • Programme participation: the participant's name, age group, guardian contact details and any health or accessibility information you choose to disclose so that we can teach safely.
  • Event media: photographs or recordings of concerts and workshops, only where consent has been given.
  • Technical data: standard server log information (IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp) generated when you visit this website.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or profiling tools on this site.

3. Why we process it, and on what legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry and maintain correspondence — legitimate interest, or the steps preceding an agreement (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).
  • To enrol and teach students, and to keep participation and attendance records — performance of an agreement and our legitimate interest in running the school (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).
  • To publish photographs, recordings or names in connection with our public activities — consent, which you may withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a)).
  • To keep accounting and reporting records required of a Lithuanian legal entity — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

4. No sale or monetisation of your data

We never sell, rent, licence or trade personal data, and we do not use visitor data for advertising or commercial profiling. Personal data is shared only with service providers who help us operate (for example email and website hosting), acting on our instructions under a data-processing agreement, or with public authorities where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to two years. Participation records are kept for the duration of participation and up to five years afterwards, so that we can confirm attendance and report on funded activities. Accounting documents are retained for the period prescribed by Lithuanian law. Consent-based media is removed on withdrawal of consent.

6. Children's data

Because many of our students are minors, enrolment data and any consent for photography or recording are provided by a parent or legal guardian. Guardians may review, correct or withdraw that data at any time by contacting us.

7. Security

Access to personal data is limited to the people who need it for their role. Accounts are password protected, the website is served over an encrypted connection, and paper records are kept in a locked location at our registered office.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Write to info@NikaRoofing.com and we will respond within one month. If you believe your rights have been breached, you may lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of the Republic of Lithuania (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija).

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and revise the date shown above. Material changes affecting students or participants will also be communicated directly.
