Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 August 2026

1. About these terms

This website is operated by Slavų tradicinės muzikos mokykla, a non-profit cultural and educational entity registered in Lithuania (RC: 124627254), Draugystės pr. 25, Šiauliai, 76289 Šiaulių m. sav., Lithuania. By using this website or taking part in our programmes, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or the services it describes.

2. Use of the website

  • You may read, print and share our pages for personal, educational and non-commercial use.
  • You agree not to attempt to disrupt the site, gain unauthorised access, scrape it for commercial purposes, or submit unlawful, misleading or abusive content through our forms.
  • Information on this site is provided in good faith for general information. Programme dates, fees and repertoire may change; contact us to confirm details before relying on them.

3. Students and programme participants

  • Enrolment is confirmed in writing (email is sufficient). For minors, a parent or legal guardian must enrol the student and provide contact details.
  • Participants agree to treat teachers, fellow students, instruments and venues with care and respect. Instruments lent by the school remain our property and must be returned in the condition received, allowing for normal wear.
  • Where a fee applies, it covers materials and running costs only. Reductions and waivers are available on request; no one is excluded from our programmes for lack of means.
  • We may ask a participant to stop attending if their behaviour endangers or seriously disrupts others. Any fee paid for unused sessions is refunded in that case.
  • Participation in music activities carries ordinary physical risks (vocal strain, handling instruments, travel to events). Please tell us about relevant health conditions so that we can adapt sessions.

4. Photography and recordings

We sometimes photograph or record workshops and concerts to document our work. This is done only with the consent of participants or their guardians, and consent may be withdrawn at any time, after which we remove the material from our channels.

5. Intellectual property and archival material

Site texts, graphics and layout belong to Slavų tradicinės muzikos mokykla unless stated otherwise. Traditional melodies and texts belong to the communities that carry them; our transcriptions, arrangements and recordings are made available for educational and research use with attribution, and may not be sold or used commercially without our written permission and, where relevant, the consent of the performers involved.

6. Cultural partners and volunteers

Joint events are agreed in writing, with each party responsible for its own staff, insurance and permits unless agreed otherwise. Partners and volunteers may not present themselves as representatives of the organization, or use our name or emblem, without prior written consent.

7. Donations and support

Support given to the organization is used exclusively for public-benefit cultural and educational activities. We provide confirmation of receipt on request and will report on the use of earmarked support to the donor.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by Lithuanian law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of this website or from information published on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence.

9. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Lithuanian courts. Questions about these terms may be sent to info@NikaRoofing.com or raised by phone at +370 615 20310.
